Clinical genetics, pathology, and molecular diagnostics is a business area within the Medical Services administration, Laboratory Medicine division in Region Skåne, operating in four locations: Malmö, Lund, Helsingborg, and Kristianstad, with a common operations manager. We provide histopathological, cytological, and molecular pathological services to private practitioners, health centers, local hospitals, emergency hospitals, and Skåne University Hospital (Sus), and assist with specialist competence and consultation expertise within the southern healthcare region.

Our unit consists of medical secretaries, biomedical analysts, nursing assistants, and doctors. We are driven by the desire to help patients and aim to provide a quality answer in a reasonable time. We also focus on how we can develop and work daily with various types of improvement work.

WORK TASKS

We are now looking for an employee for our secretariat at Clinical Pathology in Kristianstad for a temporary position extending until June 30, 2027!

As a medical secretary, your tasks include, among other things, handling referrals, telephone service, and issuing laboratory results in our lab data system. In addition, other responsibility tasks are added, depending on the needs of the operation. The work is carried out in collaboration with other employees to achieve the overall goals of the operation. You will also participate in the unit's improvement and development work.

QUALIFICATIONS

We welcome you who are a medical secretary with approved education in Health and Medical Administration 80 p. KY or 400 p. YH or equivalent medical secretary education. For the role, good language skills in Swedish, both spoken and written, are required. You also have good knowledge of medical terminology.
